McGladrey Bolsters Litigation Support Capabilities
Veterans join growing business consulting practice
NEW YORK – (March 24, 2011) – RSM McGladrey, one of the country’s leading providers of tax and consulting services under the McGladrey brand, continues to strategically expand its business consulting practice, announcing the addition of four veteran hires for the firm’s national Litigation Support Practice.
Based in the firm’s New York office, the local team will be headed by Managing Director Joseph Decilveo, who has more than 25 years of experience investigating fraud matters and providing forensic accounting services to some of the largest companies in the world.

The practice’s other new hires include Director Mary Kreidell, Director Scott Richter and Manager John Rollins. Previously, the team worked at LECG, a global litigation consulting firm.

Joseph Decilveo, Managing Director
Decilveo has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in forensic accounting investigations and fraud matters to some of the largest companies in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Japan. Specifically, he has consulted with clients responding to whistle-blower allegations relating to financial statement fraud, post-acquisition purchase price disputes, royalty matters, unauthorized foreign and domestic disbursements and court orders under deferred prosecution agreements resulting from regulatory investigations. Formerly, Joe was a senior managing director at Huron Consulting Group, where he led the U.S. financial investigations practice, and a senior partner at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mary Kreidell, Director
Kreidell specializes in forensic accounting and fraud investigations and has more than 20 years of experience in financial accounting, auditing and public finance. She draws on her experience operating on the corporate side of financial management and her knowledge of complex financial investigations to provide clients a combination of accounting expertise and corporate insight. Her experience includes matters involving accounting fraud, misreporting of funds, due diligence investigations, purchase price disputes, accounting malpractice and bankruptcy. Formerly, Kreidell was a senior director in the forensic accounting and litigation consulting practice at Kroll Inc. She also served as the chief financial officer at DHB Capital Group, Inc.
Scott Richter, Director
Richter has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting and auditing in addition to his work in the forensic accounting and litigation consulting arenas. He has conducted investigations relating to CPA malpractice, restatement of financial statements, fraudulent transactions, defalcations, and breaches of contract and regulatory actions. With a background in multinational corporate financial operations and consulting, he provides clients with a unique perspective into matters regarding U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting as well as assessments of internal accounting practices and controls. His expertise also extends to integrating mergers and acquisitions. Richter was in the forensic accounting and litigation consulting practices at Aon Consulting and Kroll, and also served as the vice president of finance for corporate integration at the Interpublic Group, and previously, as vice president of finance and corporate controller at McCann-Erickson WorldGroup.
John Rollins, Manager
Rollins has more than 8 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting and valuation work in the forensic accounting and litigation consulting arenas. He specializes in complex damages and valuation analyses of multinational corporations as well as conducting investigations relating to audit fraud, breaches of contract, restatement of financial statements, fraudulent transactions, regulatory actions, standards of care and other matters related to securities litigation. He began his career at Thomson Financial, where he analyzed company and sector market data.
