McGladrey MDS 3.0 Training Academy

McGladrey is providing a two-day academy to prepare nursing home clinical staff to complete the new Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 assessment and conduct care planning using the Care Area Assessments (CAA).

Faculty for the Academy include McGladrey’s Joseph J. Tomaino, MS, RN, Director, and Cheryl Ben-David, PT, DPT, Manager, both of whom participated in CMS’ Train-the-Trainer program for MDS 3.0 and have years of experience preparing staff to conduct resident assessments.

A per-person fee of $485 will be charged. Participants will receive an MDS 3.0 manual and a certificate of completion at the end of the course. The Academy is being held at the Hampton Inn in White Plains, N.Y. For long-distance attendees, the hotel is a short distance from White Plains and LaGuardia Airports, and a block of rooms at a special rate has been reserved.
