Event Overview
Mobile banking is one of the latest service delivery methods to reach customers. While viewed as a way to provide customer convenience and increase an institution’s customer service capabilities, mobile banking introduces a number of challenges from security and privacy perspectives. The virtualization of servers in the back office continues to be a choice in banking to further reduce costs and increase IT efficiencies; but like other emerging technologies security risks must also be considered.
This presentation will discuss at a high level the security challenges of both of these emerging technologies and what credit unions need to do to mitigate those challenges and ensure member security and privacy.
