Community Involvement

At McGladrey, we understand the importance of giving back to the communities where our employees live and work, and we have a long history of doing just that through employee volunteerism as well as financial donations to designated charitable organizations.

In 2011, more than 2,100 McGladrey employees and clients participated in 135 volunteer initiatives across the country through the firm's Volunteer Day. More than 1,650 participated in more than 100 volunteer activities during the firm's first national Volunteer Day in 2010.

The McGladrey Classic raised $300,000 for charitable organizations in 2011 – that's double the amount raised during the inaugural event in 2010.

The McGladrey Foundation, managed and primarily funded by firm employees, raises more than $200,000 each year to support community-based projects and charitable organizations in the New England area. In 2011, the first McGladrey Foundation Charity Golf Event raised more than $150,000 for Boston-area nonprofits.
